The VET school Sáenz de Buruaga is located in Extremadura (Spain). The team is composed by 50 students from the Higher VET Programme on Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory. The project aims to develop and implement an integrated system for sustainable waste management in clinical biomedical laboratories, aligned with the principles of the circular economy. The project promotes the reuse and recycling of materials, reduces operational costs, and contributes to the development of sustainable practices that can be extended to other laboratories or related industries.

The VET school Cristo del Rosario is located in Extremadura (Spain). The team is composed by 10 students from the basic VET Program on Electricity and Electronic Devices. The initiative involves creating a repair workshop where students can learn to fix small and medium-sized appliances. By doing so, the project seeks to reduce expenses and raise awareness about the excessive consumerism prevalent in today’s world. |

Brief Description of the Group
The VET school Francisco de Orellana is located in Extremadura (Spain). The team is composed by 17 students from the of Higher and Medium VET Program on Early Childhood Education. Intergenerational project designed to enable people of different ages (in our case, children, youth, and adults) to interact with each other, exchange knowledge and experiences, and, as a result, produce significant changes both among the participants and within their community. |

Isabel Panadero is coordinator of the entrepreneurship classroom. She teaches in theintermediate VET cycles of care for people in dependent situations and in the higher VET cycle of early childhood education. She has led several projects in regional participations in the entrepreneurship culture programs. |

Biodegradable Insecticide Trap
Brief Description of the Group
The VET school Cristo del Rosario is located in Extremadura (Spain). The team is composed by 15 students from the HIgher and Medium VET Programs on Mechanical Manufacturing. The project involves the manufacturing of an insecticidal trap made with 3D printers and biodegradable material. The main sector of the community is agriculture, specifically vines and olive trees, which represents a factor of great interest for the solution, as it reducesthe use of phytosanitary products that pollute the environment. |

Project Title
Renewable energy infrastructures at the schools
Brief Description of the Group
The VET school Extremadura is located in Extremadura (Spain). The team is composed by 22 students from medium and higher VET Programs on Electrical and Automatic Installations and Electrotechnical and Automated Systems. This VET school is one of the first educational centers to implement the ‘paperless’ policy, reaching agreements with Google to create a Virtual Classroom and a Virtual Workspace in 2017. The building holds a photovoltaic installation, connected to the ‘Green Classroom’ of the institute. The project aims to connect the learning outcomes from the vocational training cycles in the Electricity and Electronics field with the renewable energy installations of the building |

Albertina Palomo teaches in the Intermediate level of Electrical and Automatic Installations and in the Higher level of Electrotechnical and Automated Systems. She is the Coordinator of the Innovation and Education Networks for Sustainable Development project at the institute, with experience in entrepreneurship projects with students. The project aims at improving transportation and access to rural areas, while ensuring that rural development also contributes to the preservation of the natural environment and the quality of life of local communities. |

Project Title
For efficient and sustainable urban transport
Brief Description of the Group
The VET school Agora is located in Extremadura (Spain). The team is composed by 30 students from the Higher VET Programs on Computer Science, Administration and Commerce. Our project was born with the idea of being more efficient in urban freight transport. The project concerns issues related to sustainable transportation, such as last-mile delivery of parcels or optimizing road transport. This improvement in transportation will directly reduce travel time and, consequently, reduce energy consumption and pollution. |

The project is focused on WATER as the central element of three key actions: AWARENESS, IRRIGATION OPTIMIZATION, and RESEARCH.
