Welcome to the ENNEPlus Resources section — a curated space where you can access inspiring content, practical tools and educational materials to support your journey in vocational education and training (VET), digital innovation, and sustainability.
The ENNEPlus project promotes eco-innovation and digital transformation in Vocational Education and Training (VET) as a response to the ecological and social challenges defined by the European Green Deal and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This section brings together key resources that support educators and learners in developing innovative solutions with real impact.
Macrochallenges for ecoinnovation
The Eramus ENNE+ project aims to respond to the challenges posed by the European Green Deal and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by promoting eco-innovation and digital transformation in VET through new approaches and teaching methodologies aimed at addressing Europe’s ecological challenges through digital solutions, with the ultimate goal of transforming the EU into a modern, competitive and resource-efficient economy.
According to the Eco-innovation Action Plan (Eco-AP) COM(2011) 899 final, “Eco-innovation” refers to any innovation that reduces impacts on the environment, increases resilience to environmental pressures or uses natural resources more efficiently.
Therefore, based on the inputs collected during focus groups organized during the initial phases of this project and thanks to the expertise of our technical partners, the technical partners of the project consortium have designed 10 ENNEPlus Challenge-Based Learning Scenarios (CBLS) to represent hypothetical cases, related to one or more Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Agenda 2030 and based on sustainability-related challenges representing different realities faced by society in the participating EU countries and to be addressed in the field of Eco-innovation, for the engagement of VET learners in the Eco-Digithon.
VET centres willing to candidate one or more teams for the participation in the Eco-Digithon are invited to identify the scenario that better applies to their eco-innovation projects or initiatives. Selected teams will use the scenarios as inspirational and guidance reference, adapting them to the features and requirements of local challenges they are addressing.
Educational Resources (Free)
Open Educational Resources (OER) are freely available and openly licensed educational materials that can be used, modified, adapted and shared by anyone. These free resources are essential in Vocational Education and Training (VET) because of their flexibility, affordability and adaptability. They provide up-to-date, industry-relevant content that is crucial for VET students to acquire the skills needed in a changing labour market. OERs support hands-on, interactive learning, in line with the practical approach of VET, enhancing lifelong learning and competence development. Furthermore, they foster collaboration between educators and promote equity and digital literacy.
The Eramus ENNE+ project aims to promote eco-innovation and digital transformation in VET through new approaches and teaching methodologies, relying on resources accessible to all. Therefore, OERs will be used as an open, updatable and quality tool for the members of the VET teams to develop their projects.
Below are the OERs available for each of the 10 challenge-based learning scenarios that have been designed:
Ecoambassadors
Are you an innovator in the green sector? Do you advocate for environmental sustainability and climate change awareness? Would you like to share your story and expertise at EU level?
We are looking for twelve role models in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Austria for the realization of inspirational interviews that can guide and support the VET teachers and students who will join the first round of Eco-Digithons in the design of innovative solutions to the ecological challenges of their respective communities.
